Rory McIlroy tried to make Jordan Spieth feel better about going bald
Green jacket winners get the last laugh

By all accounts, it wasn’t a great day for Jordan Spieth on Thursday at the Players Championship. Paired with Rory McIlory in what was seen by many as a potential catalyst for a McIlory-Spieth rivalry, Jordan stumbled to a three-over 75. It was his worst score in more than 20 PGA Tour rounds, and McIlory beat him by six shots on the day.
Naturally, Spieth looked extremely disappointed throughout the day, so much so that Rory actually felt compelled to cheer him up. They started talking about “hairstyles,” Rory said after the round, and told Spieth not to worry about losing his hair:
“It’s funny we were talking about hair styles. It’s funny — sort of hair styles or something like that. But anyway, I sort of said to him, you have a green jacket, your hair can be whatever you want it to be.”
